The Gospel Carriers & Jeanine

From the back cover:

This group was organized in March 1972 and appeared 112 times the first year. The name means what it implies. We believe that each song has a message for someone. We have traveled many miles, met & made many friends throughout Georgia.

The group consists of eight dedicated members. Richard Kennedy, drummer, the newest member of the group. He is the son of Billy Kennedy, our baritone singer. Steve Hones sings tenor and it is said by many that he is one of the best. He also plays piano and writes gospel music. Winston Mobley and Frances Mobley, formally with the Gospel Five, play guitar and sing lead respectively. Twelve year old Jeanine Hewitt sings alto and also writes songs. Lois Hewitt, pianist; Frank Hewitt is the bass singer.

The group will sing at any church, homecoming, fun raising campaign, or Gospel sings of any kind and work exclusively on a free-will offering basss. It is the sincere hope and desire that we always lift Christ in our singing.

We ask that you pray for us as we travel about carrying the gospel in song.
